This brand rubbed me the wrong way right out of the starting gate because "Polite Society" used to be and may still be a euphemism for rich people who consider themselves to be socially superior to everyone else. And that fits the two founders to a T. Snobs who look down on the middle class who used to buy their Too Faced products. They're not getting a penny from (socially inferior) me!
Here I am! I know all the reservations about the brand owners and such but I was such a huge fan of their peach powder back in the day, that I had to try it. I love the peach and the pink shades in this new brand as well as the blush sticks. They are so easy to throw into my bag and won’t melt in the hot Tampa weather.
“We all had a foundation launch” last year made me belly laugh! The eye shadow looked beautiful on you and the blush intrigues me. The look with everything together is gorgeous. I’d honestly forgotten all about Polite Society. I will swatch their products when I’m at Ulta.
I am not a fan of JB at all. And I did not want to buy anything from them. But I tried the foundation and I can’t express properly how stunning it is for me. I’m 50 with dehydrated skin, and I find it difficult to find something that wears as beautifully on me.
I really hate the marketing. Middle fingers I mean, come on. Is that what we really need to show the young generation or anyone these days? I guess I prefer class acts. I do however love the blush stick and the blush palette. That es pallet looks really nice too. I used to love Too Faced so not surprised the items are great quality. Thanks for your review! ❤
People are not giving them another chance. From reading posts, people haven’t forgotten some things. The foundation has really impressed a couple of beauty consumers that I know. I don’t bet things with names I would feel silly saying aloud.
picked up the peach ABH blush that you recently featured, it's as amazing as you described! your reviews are the most authentic on here.. thanks Rebecca! It's the perfect summer color as well as easy to travel/pack!

Brands need to stop using shiny metallic packaging- I don't want to have to keep wiping my fingerprints off things.

Thank you for reviewing this brand again. I didn’t know they had a pink powder.

I was actually mildly interested in the powder but I'm overall "meh" about the brand.
can you pull the powder container apart to reuse/top up? i struggle to find a powder packing I find user friendly.
I've wanted to try the Polite Society foundation for absolutely ages. I am big mad that I cannot get this in the UK
