I wish the script for Young Sheldon PROPERLY followed TBBT storyline. There were so many inconsistencies and backward plots that didn't line up, e.g. Mary mentions in TBBT that they had a dog that Sheldon scared, YS never had a dog. With mee maw I guess I can put it down to aging over the years, but the intense weight different and personality spectre also doesn't match between each character. Over all I prefer YS any day over TBBT, but I think if writers are going to make prequels and sequels to shows, they need to look back on the show they're basing their new one off and get the histories right
Y’all killed him off of Young Sheldon why it was not like the young Sheldon and the Big Bang theory matched up on everything I love the show and everyone on it whoever had him written all bad idea horrible idea
They potentially could have continued the show though it would have been a little bit of a downer. George ended up being one of the most popular characters on the show so with him being gone it probably wouldn't have lasted long.
I think another problem is the fact that the show was straying away from Sheldon, because though his behavior may have been cute as a young child, as a young teenager it was just going straight into the obnoxious range. It was hard enough to deal with his eccentric behavior as an adult but when you're dealing with a teenager behaving like that it is a little bit different and it is definitely not cute anymore.
Or perhaps the show retconned it because they didn't like what the original had done. I'm a Big Bang Theory guy. The more I hear about Young Sheldon, the less i like the idea.
Kinda like the Star Wars Prequels. every one wants Anikin to not turn to the dark side, but then there is no Darth Vader in Star Wars. That is the problems with Prequels, the die is cast.
I liked the show but I'm also one of those people that lies TBBT, George died when Sheldon was 14 so seemed like the timing was right, just wished he was more of a degenerate the way older Sheldon portrayed him, especially since Sheldon doesn't lie but maybe he sugar coated the stories a bit so he could have been more of a drinker in the show.
People please!! I like the show as much as anyone but you do realize it's a tv show, right?
There's no need for psychoanalysis of the show. The world will go on and you'll be OK.
Get a grip and put that energy into something that needs energizing, for instance, why do we keep voting for the same two political parties when all we get is fucked by them?
