I enjoyed the content you made because you brought forth an energy that felt much more ‘wholesome’ and analytical. I’ve watched many, MANY, Valorant streamers and videos, and within that you stood out to me as the content I wanted to see. You were guiding your students and viewers towards both game awareness and emotional awareness, and as someone who suffers from anxiety and negative self talk, it was nice to tune in to your content because you had an attitude that opposed what my own voice was telling me. I’d listen to your streams like one would a podcast, and it made me feel better. It got me through the worst days.
But then you started contradicting yourself. You started to yell at your teammates, belittle your viewers, and the videos you made started to carry a new attitude. Blame this, flame that, with an ego that stuck out and tasted foul. It felt off, and I really wanted to stick around and enjoy your content, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. “Maybe if I join the discord it’ll feel different”, I thought, but it didn’t help. So, I walked away, and completely missed when all the information came to light.
I’m glad, in a way, that I wasn’t there to be swept up in the witch hunt. No one deserves to be shoved in the spotlight and belittled. Cancel culture is poison, and I hope you’re doing alright now. I’m relieved you’ve done the introspection and understood your mistakes. In a way, it’ll make your climb to Radiant even more of an accomplishment. This time, you’re getting there on your own, despite everything, and that’s something to truly be proud of.
I’m ready to catch up on the content I missed while I was away. Keep being the best person you can be, banana man.
Just because someone apologized no one is entitled to forgive them. If they did something wrong intentionally, they should suffer consequences. Doesn't deserve forgiveness. Mistakes should be forgiven, not all wrongdoings
It takes a great person to openly admit something like that and you have my biggest respect! Since your content was and still is highly educational and your concepts are on point I don't care if you've peaked Radiant on your own or if it "only" was Immortal. But actually getting Radiant on your own sounds like a good plan. Tbh I stopped following your content since it's so in-depth and you're taking your time resulting in very long videos I sadly don't have time for anymore. But I'm sure many others still follow your S-Tier content and despite initially lying you still get mad respect, are a highly skilled player and appreciated in your community. Nothing that can't be fixed.
