I think part of the reason he was chosen for the role of massage uncle is because he is a real gentleman who is respectful of women. So the models can work comfortably with him, without any kind of fear.
The ad was very funny, and Uncle Toh managed to convey his character's exasperation with the model's needy, attention-seeking behaviour very convincingly. He could convey the wisdom (that comes with age) of acting one's age, and knowing what is yours to accept, and what is not acceptable. His character showed maturity, wisdom, and the burden of age. He acted professionally at all times. (Even if he did not hide his exasperation very well). I want to be like him when I grow up! 🙂
