Just so you know if we keep building and building and building and building, we are going to run out of water we live in a desert. We don’t live in Lake Michigan. Great video. I got to give you that though keep up the good work. I love your videos.
This topic is one where more information is really useful, as many people have vague feelings of worry and uncertainty about the future. Great video on an important subject!
The water is a really fine spot to relax and unwind . The geology is spectacular as far a a pull out place few places on earth are this nice worldwide. I'd expect in the future this location is going to play a huge part of this areas future.
Great video. I think there needs to be a lot more emphasis on conservation. We have one of the highest water use rates in the country at between 250-300 gallons per day per capita which makes no sense in the desert. The glut of water usage has got to be reigned in
This was a very good interview, but my take away is not the same as yours. We need to slow growth, limit golf courses, and increase the cost of water to reflect it's true cost. Water has been artificially cheap, subsidized by our tax dollars.
Thank you Macrea and Broc for an informative deep-dive piece. As a civil engineer with 30-years of experience in municipal water/wastewater/reuse design, I assert this interview balances the challenges of growth and water supply, while emphasizing the need for enhanced conservation/reuse programs. Well-done to the benefit of the entire southern Utah community, and the Colorado River Basin States overall.
St. George ignores the Colorado Compact. They have faith they can build a pipeline to get water from Lake Powell. Mormons, my family are Mormons, have a hard time grasping carrying capacity. They have breed the Salt Lake Valley into a smog ridden hellhole. Driving to my native state with California plates some Mormon was almost always trying to scam me. If you aren't LDS you are a gentile.
Hey what's going on with the property off of River Road across the street from Mr D's gas station? It's that little hill with the three houses on it. It use to look like a junkyard.
This was a really well done video. Tons of great info with direct answers. The visuals throughout the video are incredibly well done as well. Keep it up.

So how many years supply is actually maintained, doesn't seem like that question was ever really answered?
waters very bad
The drone shots are pretty amazing.
Why don’t states cap the allowed population related to resources?

Thanks for the info!
Great video and break down. This is a topic that is VERY misunderstood by 99% of the public, so it's good to get this in depth information
