Whatever people say, there will always be one true church that suffered for almost two thousand years, compiled the bible and put verses in it, preserved the tombs of the apostles, all the nations visited by the apostles became catholics, Catholic Church remained as the most persecuted church in the world, you know why? Because the Catholic Church isn't of this world, Jesus Christ himself instituted the one and only church the Catholic church through apostles Peter, the first pope of the Catholic Church and the gates of hades shall not hinder it, for almost two thousands years pagan Romans tried to destroy the Catholic Church but instead they were christianized under the Catholic Church, rise of heresies but they are all debunked by the doctors of the church the bishops of the Catholic Church, Islam wanted to destroy the Catholic Church but failed, protestantism tried to destroy the Catholic Church but in the end they were destroyed themselves and now they have 40,000+ protestant churches fighting each other in doctrines and who among them the true church, next Hitler and communism tried to destroy the Catholic Church but where are they? The Catholic church still stands today and continues to fight the modern heresies, the lies imposed by those who didn't know the Catholic faith, and the secularism of this world, long live the True Church of Christ, The true Bride of Christ, the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church established by Jesus Christ Himself through Apostle Peter the First Pope of the Catholic Church!

Does anyone know the numbers of people leaving the faith? Hopefully we can reduce that number.

I have also been thinking about everyone of us getting at least one person to convert. If we all did that the numbers would be staggering.

I was considering joining the Catholic Church again, since my family were all catholic and that’s how I was raised before shunning the church… however, once the pope approved blessing same sex couples, I was turned away from Catholicism. I ended up becoming a LDS and was baptized a little over a month ago now. I don’t respect the pope anymore for supporting sin. Jesus said to go and sin no more, he didn’t bless the adulterer in the street and tell her she’s now blessed to go sin more…

but by no means see for the heart of this people has grown unreceptive and their ears have heard without response and they have shut their eyes so that they may never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn back and I heal them so did you catch that in Isaiah chapter 6 Isaiah said Jehovah said this to me and nearly verbatim Paul says that the holy spirit said it bc you can say the Holy Spirit you can say Jehovah God bc it's interchangeable bc the holy spirit is Jehovah God Isaiah heard from the Holy Spirit and he said hey Jehovah is speaking and then Paul said hey you know who was talking to Isaiah the Holy Spirit was and I'm saying it was the Holy Spirit Isaiah said it was Jehovah God so clearly when

Based on the evidence you have presented, it does not follow that the Catholic Church is growing. You’ve only told us about the number of people entering the Church. What about the number of people leaving the Church? I’ve read in recent years that for every one person who enters through RCIA six people leave.

Raised Baptist, spent a decade agnostic, just started OCIA a few weeks back. Can't wait to be confirmed!

Praise be to God! In our parish myself (30) and another (18) were baptized and confirmed. No atheist background with either.

I recently was talking to a baptist protestant (im from the uk and am catholic), and we were discussing evangelisation. One thing that really stayed with me was how his dad chose to convert to be a christian from an atheist background, and through that his mom, his siblings, and then his children and his wife converted. 1 conversion does not stop there, it can go so much further, 1 catholic baptised may mean their family becomes catholic a year or a few years later. 1 convert = so many more potential converts!

The fact is that more conservative (not right wing, think what conserving means) churches, teaching the actual catechism, 'go and sin no more', matter. The secularists hate Catholicism because we value all life, believe in truth, and are responsible in our actions, and love, do unto others, and so on.

Whilst I'm sure a lot of concerts are in earnest, a lot of "asylum seekers" "convert" to Christianity to avoid deportation. There's been a big thing in the UK with the CoE accepting people failed asylum bids. I know it's more difficult and time Is a factor to convert to become a catholic.

The parish I grew up in Maryland is dying, low attendance and few baptisms. That used to be a huge parish.
Here in Texas our parish has been brining in 30-60 Catholics a year for the 9 years we've been down here.

Record number of French were baptised at Easter 2024? They may feel that there is a need to reaffirm their culture in an age when they have been under siege from laïcité (secularism) and l'islamisme (fundamental Islam). The assault on French society has been relentless and I personally think that the 'arson attack' on Notre Dame de Paris was a turning point!

I think people are widening thier worldview because of the evils of modernity. Catholic history being so rich intellictualizes the faith as much as you need. I think it draws the athiest mind as a different avenue to reach the glory of God

The reason I think is that people are realising how messed up the world is since the sexual revolution, contraception especially and they are realising that what the Catholic church teaches is real and true. Like what feels good isn't always good as the new age tries to tell us. The Catholic church teaches self control and self mastery over your passions etc. I'm in awe of it. The self centered new age culture can only last so long. We need catholicism for healthy family and society. ❤
