Like the previous poster, I'm questioning the numbers. I have friends and family in Vegas and they are not earning $100,000/yr. My niece is single and makes around $65,000/yr as a nurse and she is doing great. Same for my friend who is working as a cook on the strip. He's not rich but is doing okay, he just brought a new Tesla. It all depends on your lifestyle and how you budget.
welcome the 'New Would Order' plan ,everything was planned to increase the cost of living so ppl would have less child birth hence higher groceries , utilities and rent . it is a global problem ,not just north america
voting for Biden led to this. voting for dems tsk tsk. they pushed shutting down the economy over covid, and let immigrants in unvaxxed, gave our tax money to Ukraine, shut down American oil over green agenda, but then the admin buys higher gas from Opec. all these things led to everything more expensive. so easy to see all this m. wake up yet ?
The links you sent are not helpful! I’ve been trying to get help from Help Nv and have been put off for months. Someone needs to look into what’s going on there.
Las Vegas use to be very affordable now not so much anymore. I’m lucky I bought my house years ago and my car is paid off. Of course inflation it is getting harder
This is bs. I live on much less than this in Vegas and am “comfortable”. People need to get realistic and get their priorities in order. Stop living a life you can’t afford trying to flex on social media! And for God’s sake, stop breeding like rabbits!!!
This study by SmartAsset is simply their way of advertising since it's so overblown. They are banking that this will be picked up by our pathetic media and spread far and wide. Most people with common sense know that it doesn't take 94k to live comfortably, even in these times.
The best case is if you bought a house years ago and paid it off or have a low-interest mortgage. If not then cut out all the shit you don't need: booze, cigarettes, gambling, restaurant meals, fancy cars, fancy clothes, etc. If you're really desperate you can get roommates, live in the shitty parts of town, or take the bus instead of driving. You don't need $94000 per year to live here.
Rent is only $1,500?? I'd stay there and count my blessings. Nashville average apartment is $2,000 while jobs historically paying way below national average because we used to be a "low cost of living City"
I dunno about this one. I'm single, have an almost 2k/month apartment, and I made a little under 70 this past year and I'm super comfortable. Granted my car has been paid off for a few years now, but 94 seems like a stretch.
That’s a big number to have to make. A lot of us don’t. Expecially us women that are mom’s . Have two and three jobs is needed for most that have kids and don’t make $94,000 a year. That leaves little time to spend with your kids. This is a sad reality for most.

Don't complain if you vote Democrat
Such bad propaganda
Thank the Allegiant stadium for this
Inaccurate. Single people don't have kids. That's a widow with 3 children. Blatant misinformation
Time to leave
Thats weird. I read another article that said you only needed somewhere around 65k for a single adult.
Vote red.

The rents are out of control and the salaries are low. Something has to change here.
I have lived on ~$35k/yr in Vegas since 2019.
$45k would be comfortable.
$94k seems wasteful.
This is what happened when people kept moving here and turning Vegas into the new L.A. Its only gonna get worse.
Nonsense

Vote blue no matter who…. Am I right?
Didn’t need this much three years ago. Anyone miss those mean tweets yet ?

Can we get a breakdown of what “living comfortably” consists of?
If u dont make AT LEAST 100k, you SHOULDNT have kids.
Really? Why are you bringing in hundreds of thousands of illegals with no chance of making that. What do you think they're gonna do…

Lmao…vote smarter, doofus’s
Sounds like the same as here in SWFl.

These jobs don't pay much at all.
The study says a single adult needs to make $95,000, so why are these newscasts focused on single mothers and pregnant women?????????
Remember folks ….You get what you vote for. Don't complain!!!
