I am a single mom currently retired, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, I decided to stay on the sideline for awhile, now I’m worried with the numerous bank failures as of late, am I better off reinvesting my savings in the stock market or do I wait?
Warren Buffet does not invest. He collects companies to use the cash flow, and most of the businesses he has interests in, he attempts to leverage out the value surplus he believes the business has. He looks for opportunities where he can hedge out gains in some manner. People do not understand what type of opportunities he is looking for and how he extracts funds.
Maybe he will buy cheap silver for the United States Treasury and go back on our bi metal constitutional money like his father wanted and I imagine Warren himself.
Thank you David for your detailed information. You have helped me diversify unfortunately I don’t have enough investments to pull in gains now to invest in the future. I have been working hard to consolidate my debt to lower interest rates. Just got a statement from a credit card I paid off in that process. I over paid to insure I covered the daily interest they charge. Now they are taking $2 a month as a fee for not using my account instead of paying me back the overpayment amount. How incredibly backwards the system truly is, you really have to claw your way out, they will never throw you a lifeline.

If stocks are too expensive if compared to the real value of the company, Buffet will sell it.
My stock market portfolio consists of energy and mining stocks. Overall down about 20% yoy.
Fundamentals are looking okay, to very good.

What is the dollar worth.three cent. If the dollar not backed by gold.it just paper.why would I except your paper that not backed by gold.
